3 weeks later, no news! Well..

Few weeks ago since I wrote something.
I actually don't like to write!

Anyway.. is there news?
Well.. a few 'strange' things are happening.
Since I decided to put more energy in professional racing more people are getting interested in what I'm doing and they want to help.
That's quite nice!
It makes me realise I should have done that a few years ago.

I received an offer to do Britcar this year; endurance.
Sounds good!
But not where the focus is right now.
I talked to Cor Euser about Dubai 2012 and I thik that's going to happen.

Last week some drivers and I decided the Porsche 944 Supercup will start this year.
And guess what?
I'm the one who started this cup, so a lot of work to do; both for my team and for myself organising it.
That makes me realise I should do something usefull instead of writing this blog!

Any idea how it feels when you really need money?

I finally have my dream contract.. and a great management team that is working on my budget; I really can't complain, but...
I wish I had another passion in my life; 4th class saturday soccer, or just tennis... whatever!
But not car racing..
Ok, I'm a liar!
If we don't manage to pay the first term, my contract is gone... and the dream with it.. and I don't want that!
No, I'm not going to tell with whom, but believe me you'd like to trade places with me!

Just help me, that's all Iwant, haha!
This is not good for my heart I can tell you that!

Racing in 2011

Hi Everyone!

2010 was a short year for me because the biggest part of the year I have been recovering from the acident I had in 2009.

In my first practise session this year I was the fastest driver with 0,3 sec. advantage at the number 2.
I had pole position and finished 2nd; a car length behind the winner after being in the lead the first 2 laps.

After 4 years in the Porsche 944 cup, I have enough of it.
Too much illegal cars and the cup coördinator is way too much involved in the rules.
An option is the BMW E30/E36 cup in Holland.
The Giallo Motorsport team members have choosen for that option.
Besides that there's a way better option that my management and I are working on.
Actually.. I already have a contract with a dreamteam, but the finances are not done yet.
And off course, that's the biggest issue.

So.. keep checking: I might have news soon!

Finally Sun!

Believe me or not, we have sun!
After having snow and ice for 'ages', without 1 single hour of sun.. it's finally there!
Just came out of bed, I'm checking e-mail and drinking coffee.

The cat enjoys the sun and the rabbits are running around waiting for me to bring them food.
This day starts good!

Around noon I'll be in Zandvoort for the monthly caravan check and after that I'll go to
the race track which is around the corner.
Last race for the WEK (winter endurance championship).
Few friends compete there, so good reason for me to go watch and network a bit by visiting
the Mickey's bar afterwards.

Yesterday was hard work here because my raceteam (Giallo Motorsports) needs to be
ready for the first race at April 8th.
I did a lot of paperwork for procedures etc.

And I have a new manager, Kristel, and she needs a lot of input from me which also takes
a lot of time.
I've been working on that a lot the last few days!
She's enthousiastic!

Tax day!

Morning everyone!! :-)

It's tax day today.. !
The yearly period for collecting all my bills, invoices etc.
I woke up at 7.00 and decided to start immediately.
I hate that stuff! haha!

Besides that I have to clean my house and do some shopping because tomorrow my raceteam will be here for the 'pre season meeting' and a meeting with my new teammate.. exciting!

Good morning everyone!

My friend Daan sent me a photo a few days ago; he said I might like it!
Well.. see the result!
Should I use this in my msn??
I like the Porsche logo!

Anyway... I had a terrible headache yesterday and I woke up with it.
When I looked outside I noticed that it started snowing again,
I could have know!
I always get headaches before it starts snowing; I probably can't handle the air pressure or something.

I'll be looking for sponsors today!!
